Justorum animae

• 作曲：ウィリアム・バード（1543 ～1623）

  バードはエリザベス一世に代表される音楽家で、師のトマス・タリスとともに、
  英国教会音楽の黄金時代を築きました。
  ２０歳でリンカーン主教座聖堂オーガニストに就任、
  ２９歳で王室礼拝堂オーガニストに就くなど、教会音楽の指導的役割を担うかたわら、
  1575年にはタリスとともにエリザベス女王から楽譜印刷及び販売の独占権が与えられ、
  多くの作品を作曲・出版しました。
  教会合唱曲として、ミサ曲３曲、モテット集３巻７８曲、グラヂュアーレ集３巻１０９曲を作曲しまし。
